Electrical designer – power and low-current systems

Are you independent, adaptable and eager to learn? Do you have experience designing electrical installations for fit-outs, offices, apartments and family homes? You may be the colleague we are looking for.

We are looking for an electrical designer focused on low-current and power systems. If this role interests you and you have relevant experience, we would be glad to hear from you.

What the role involves

  • Preparing designs in AutoCAD, including concepts and calculations
  • Independent design of low-current and power installations
  • Preparing floor plans, technical reports and protocols
  • Preparing bills of quantities and optimising design solutions
  • Preparing technical inputs for enquiries, quotations and pricing
  • Communicating and coordinating projects with the delivery team
  • Taking responsibility for assigned projects

Do you have experience with electrical installations for fit-outs, offices, flats, apartment buildings and family homes? Do you know the difference between amps and volts? You may be the colleague we are looking for.

We are looking for someone to lead a team both in the office and on site.

What the role involves

  • Managing projects from preparation through delivery and coordinating all participants
  • Preparing a high-level schedule and keeping it up to date
  • Monitoring progress, checking deadlines and resolving risks
  • Communicating with the client, designers and other stakeholders
  • Supporting tenders and preparing tender documentation
  • Overseeing samples, schedules and handovers
  • Preparing documents for site handover and final approval
  • Reviewing project progress through monthly reports, risks, finances, quality and costs
  • Finding savings during delivery

What we expect

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and OneDrive
  • Category B driving licence
  • At least three years of experience in electrical installations and project management
  • Professional qualification under Czech Government Regulation No. 194/2022 Coll.
  • Knowledge of project management
  • Secondary-school or university education
  • Experience managing electrical construction projects
  • Flexibility
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Team spirit and a desire to keep learning
  • Responsibility, thoroughness and attention to detail
